  • 2 ripe medium avocados, pitted
  • 1 serrano chili, seeded and finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons finely grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sake
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh shiso, leaves* (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped green onion
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

Directions

    Scoop avocado flesh into a bowl and mash with a fork (leave slightly chunky). Stir in all other ingredients except sesame seeds. Sprinkle with the seeds.
