  • 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 tsp. powdered garlic
  • 1 tsp. peppercorn or ground pepper (coarse)
  • 1 Tbsp. Morton Quick tenderizer
  • 1 tsp. powdered onion
  • 1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
  • 1 c. water

Directions

    Mix ingredients well.

    Wrap in a 12 x 14-inch size sheet of foil, shiny side out.

    Refrigerate 24 hours.

    Punch holes in bottom of foil and place on rack of oven.

    Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325°.
