  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp. mustard seed
  • 1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
  • 3 level Tbsp. Morton Tender Quick salt
  • 1 tsp. peppercorn (optional)

Directions

    Mix together and make a roll 12-inches long. Wrap in aluminum foil with shiny side in. Refrigerate 21 hours. Poke holes in bottom of foil (underneath side). Place on rack of broiler pan with 1/2 to 1-inch of water in bottom of pan. Water should not touch foil. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325°.
