- 4 Tbsp. liquid smoke
- 2 1/2 tsp. coarse pepper
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
- 4 Tbsp. curing salt (Morton Tender Quick)
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
Directions

1Knead all ingredients together.

2Put in covered bowl and refrigerate. Every day, knead for 5 minutes.

3Cover and put back in refrigerator.

4On the fourth day, knead and form into 2 to 4 rolls.

5Bake 9 hours at 200° or at 160°.

6Bake on rack so grease drops off.

7Broiler pan works fine.

8When you remove from oven, drain on paper towels while cooling.

9Makes 4 rolls.
