  • 6 very ripe tomatoes, diced
  • 6 green onions, sliced small
  • 6 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/8 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 loaf French bread, cut into pieces

Directions

    Hand crush tomatoes to render juice.

    Add green onions, garlic, oil and vinegar to tomatoes; mix well.

    Add salt and pepper to taste.

    Chill in refrigerator at least two hours; the longer the better.

    Serve in individual bowls with French bread pieces and don't forget your spoon.
