- 1 lb. lean ground sirloin
- 1/2 c. half and half
- 1 Tbsp. grated onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms with liquid
- 1/2 c. consomme
- 1/2 c. Burgundy
- 1 to 2 tsp. Worcestershire
Directions

1Mix beef with cream, onion, salt and pepper.

2Shape into 4 thick patties.

3Heat butter in skillet; quickly brown meat patties on both sides and remove from pan.

4Add flour to drippings in skillet and blend.

5Add wine and consomme slowly; stir until thickened and smooth.

6Add remaining ingredients; return patties to sauce.

7Simmer, covered, until done, 5 minutes or more to taste.

8Serves 3 to 4.
