- 1 egg
- 3 Tbsp. butter flavored crackers
- 1 Tbsp. onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. sage
- 3/4 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. mushroom stems and pieces
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 3/4 c. water
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- Hot mashed potatoes
Directions

1In bowl, combine first 6 ingredients.

2Add beef; mix well. Shape into two patties.

3In medium skillet, cook patties 4 - 5 minutes per side.

4Remove to platter and keep warm.

5In same skillet, saute mushrooms in butter.

6Stir in flour; blend well. Add water and bouillon.

7Cook and stir until smooth and thickened. Return patties to gravy and cook uncovered over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

8Serve with mashed potatoes. 2 servings.
