- 2 slices white bread
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 3/4 lb. medium ground lean beef
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 4 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- freshly ground pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Remove crusts from bread; soak in milk until soft.

2Add beef, breaking it up in small pieces.

3Squeeze out excess milk from bread and lightly mix with ground beef until absorbed.

4Add seasonings and shape into a large round (about 1-inch thick) or 2 smaller individual rounds.

5Preheat broiler.

6Place meat on oiled broiler pan.

7Cook 4 inches from heat on one side for 5 minutes, then turn and sprinkle on bacon and broil another 4 to 5 minutes. Add more time for well-done meat.
