- 1 to 2 lb. beef or 4 to 6 steaks
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 small onion or large, if preferred
- 1/2 stick butter
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Shape beef into patties.

2Dust with flour on both sides.

3Brown in large skillet until done.

4Add water (about 1/2 cup) and simmer until water becomes like gravy.

5Saute onion and bell pepper in about 1/2 stick butter and then add to beef and gravy.

6Ready to serve.

7Also good made with any steak cuts.

8Gravy is good over mashed potatoes.
