- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can creamed mushroom soup
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
- salt and pepper
- 1/3 c. water
Directions

1Combine 1/4 cup of soup with rest of ingredients, except water.

2Mix thoroughly.

3Shape into 6 patties.

4Place in shallow pan or baking dish (13 x 9 x 2-inch).

5Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

6Spoon off fat.

7Combine remaining soup and water.

8Pour over meat and bake 10 minutes more. Yields 6 servings.
