- 2 pounds ground beef
- 23 cup bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 2 large onions sliced
- 2 cans beef stock condensed
- 2 cans mushrooms, canned and stems
- 4.00 tablespoons water cold
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
Directions

1Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, salt, pepper and eggs; shape into 8 oval patties, each about 3/4 inch thick.

2Cook patties in large skillet over medium heat, turning occasionally, until brown(about 10 minutes), drain.

3Add onion, broth and mushrooms.

4Heat to boiling, reduce heat.

5Cover and simmer until beef is done, about 10 minutes.

6Remove patties; keep warm.

7Heat onion mixture to boiling.

8Mix water and cornstarch; stir into onion mixture.

9Boil and stir 1 minute.

10Serve over patties.
