- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 3 eggs (beaten)
- 2 yeast cakes
- 1 c. milk (warm)
- 1 qt. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cream together butter, sugar and eggs.

2Put the two yeast cakes in the cup of warm milk.

3Add the milk and yeast cakes to the creamed mixture along with flour and salt.

4Let dough rise in a warm place for several hours.

5Beat the dough down and shape into to loaves.

6Let dough rise again until doubled in size.

7Bake in a moderate oven about twenty minutes.
