- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/4 c. water
- 4 c. sifted all-purpose flour, divided
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 3 eggs
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350° 10 minutes before baking.

2Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan.

3Heat milk, shortening and water to very warm.

4Blend 1 1/3 cups flour with sugar, salt and dry yeast in large bowl.

5Blend warm liquids into flour at medium speed for 2 minutes.

6Add 2/3 cup remaining flour and eggs and beat at high speed for 2 minutes.

7Add rest of flour and mix well.

8Cover and let rise until double, about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

9Punch down and turn into prepared pan.

10Cover and let rise about 30 minutes.

11Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.
