Salmon Buns

  • 1 large can salmon
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped onion (fine)
  • 6 hamburger buns, split
  • 12 tomato slices
  • 1/2 grated cheese

Directions

    Remove skin from salmon.

    Mix onion, green pepper and 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise.

    Pile on top of bun halves.

    Place tomato slice on top.

    Mix 1/2 cup mayonnaise and 1/2 cup grated cheese.

    Spread over top of tomato slices.

    Place under broiler until topping is puffed and brownish.
