  • 8 slices English cucumber
  • 8 None whole-wheat crackers
  • 4 oz spreadable herbed cheese, like Boursan or Alouette, at room temperature
  • 4 oz smoked salmon, sliced
  • None None small thinly sliced red onion rings
  • 3 sprigs fresh dill
  • 2 sprigs fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 1 None green onion, thinly sliced on the bias

    Arrange cucumber slices and crackers in a circle on a serving platter. Spoon herbed cheese into a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Pipe a decorative swirl of cheese in center of cucumber slices and crackers. Arrange salmon slices in a rose shape over cheese. Garnish with red onion, herbs and green onion.
