Ingredients
- 1 lb. can salmon
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- salmon liquid plus sufficient milk to make 1 c.
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. onion, minced
- 2 c. bread cubes
- 1 egg, beaten
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Drain canned salmon, saving liquid. Remove skin and bones.

3Mix salmon in large bowl with bread cubes. Make white sauce by blending butter or margarine with flour over medium heat.

4Add the 1 cup liquid and cook, stirring frequently, until thickened.

5Remove from heat and add beaten egg, onion and seasonings; blend well.

6Add the white sauce to the salmon and bread cubes; mix together well.

7Place in a greased loaf pan; bake uncovered for one (1) hour.

8Serves 4 to 6.
