Ingredients

  • 1 (15 oz.) can salmon
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/4 tsp. liquid smoke
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. minced onion or use onion juice or powder
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped olives (I used black olives)
  • some capers and a little caper juice

    Drain salmon; chop very fine or mash with fork.

    Combine salmon thoroughly with other ingredients.

    Cover and chill for at least 1 hour.

    Serve with toast or rye bread.

    Makes 2 1/2 cups.
