  • 1 c. whole wheat flour
  • 2/3 c. finely shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c. chopped almonds
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 6 Tbsp. oil
  • 15 1/2 oz. can salmon
  • 3/4 c. Egg Beaters or 3 beaten eggs
  • 1 c. sour cream (reduced calorie)
  • 1/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. finely shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. grated onion
  • 1/4 tsp. dried dill weed
  • 3 drops bottled hot pepper sauce

    Crust:

    Combine whole wheat flour, 2/3 cup cheese, almonds, salt and paprika in a bowl.

    Stir in oil.

    Set aside 1/2 cup crust.

    Press remaining crust into 9-inch quiche dish or pie pan. Bake crust in 400° oven for 10 minutes.

    Remove crust and reduce oven to 325°.
