- 2 c. flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 c. flaked salmon
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 tsp. chopped parsley
- 2 tsp. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. pickle
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.

2Cut in butter. To beaten egg, add milk and blend into flour mixture.

3Divide dough into two pieces and roll each piece 1/3-inch thick in a circle shape.

4Blend together salmon, mayonnaise, parsley, onion, pickle, salt and pepper.

5Place one shortcake on greased baking sheet; spread with filling.

6Cover with other shortcake and bake in hot (425°) oven for about 20 minutes or until done.

7Melt cheese for sauce on top.
