Ingredients
- salmon steaks (as fresh as possible; one 1-inch steak per person)
- lemon juice
- 1 small onion
- butter or margarine
- seafood seasoning (optional)
Directions

1Wash salmon and place on foil lined pan.

2Place small pieces of shaved butter or margarine, approximately one piece per square inch, on one side of salmon.

3Cut very thin slices of onion and place on top of the butter or margarine.

4Pour enough lemon juice on steaks to coat all surfaces (a small amount may be used by tilting pan and spooning over steaks).

5Leave juice in pan. Seasoning may be added, if desired.

6Cook under preheated oven broiler for 7 to 10 minutes per side, depending on broiler temperature.

7Do not overcook.
