  • 3 qt. tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 c. onions, chopped
  • 1 c. green peppers, chopped
  • 3 c. celery, chopped
  • 2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
  • 1/4 c. salt
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. white vinegar

Directions

    Mix the first 6 ingredients and refrigerate overnight.

    Drain veggies. Do not press veggies.

    Add the sugar, brown sugar and white vinegar.

    Cook until thick (45 minutes).

    Stir often, especially the last 15 or 20 minutes.
