  • Oil, For Frying
  • Powdered Sugar For Coating
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoons Nutmeg (or Cinnamon, Which Ever You Prefer)
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 3 cups Flour

Directions

    Heat 3 or 4 inches of oil in a large pot to approximately 350 degrees and set aside some powdered sugar in a Ziploc baggie or container with a lid to use for coating later.

    In a bowl, cream together eggs and sugar until smooth. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix together to form a batter. Drop by teaspoonfuls into the hot oil and cook in batches until brown. Drain on paper towels, then place in the container of powdered sugar, shaking to coat. Place on a plate and try not to eat too many at once.
