- 1 (2 1/2 lb.) broiler or fryer, cut up
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 (16 oz.) jar Ortega mild or medium garden-style salsa
Directions

1In large skillet, brown chicken in oil; pour off fat.

2Add salsa and heat to a boil.

3Reduce heat to low.

4Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until done, turning chicken (six boneless chicken breasts may be substituted).

5Simmer for 15 minutes or until done.

6Makes 6 servings.
