  • 1 large ripe tomato, cored, peeled, seeded and diced
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. fresh jalapeno pepper (approximately 1/2 small seeded pepper)
  • 1 to 2 tsp. fresh lime juice
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. finely chopped fresh cilantro

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl.

    Stir to mix well. Cover and refrigerate.

    This sauce may be used as a dip for tortilla chips.
