- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 -2 tablespoon cumin seed
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Directions

1Preheat oven at 180 C / 350 F / Gas mark 4.

2In a large bowl, mix oil and sugar using a whisk or fork.

3Add egg and mix well.

4Add flour, salt, cumin seeds and baking powder.

5Mix well to combine until it forms a ball.

6Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface.

7Shape the biscuits with a cookie cutter.

8Put on the lined baking sheet and bake for 12 minutes or until golden.

9Transfer to a wire rack to cool. Store in an airtight container.

10Serve with coffee or tea.
