  • 3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 c. butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 c. mixed nuts or your favorite nuts
  • 1 c. butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 c. corn syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 Tbsp. water

    Preheat oven to 350°. In large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar and 1 cup butter; blend well. Press mixture in ungreased 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan or 2 (9-inch) square pans. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
