- 3 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. softened margarine or butter
- 2 c. mixed nuts or cocktail peanuts
- 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 6 oz. (1 cup) pkg. butterscotch chips
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.

3In medium bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, salt and margarine; blend well.

4Press into ungreased 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan.

5Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.

6Sprinkle nuts over partially baked crust.

7In small saucepan, combine corn syrup, margarine, water and butterscotch chips; boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

8Pour cooked mixture over nuts.

9Return to oven and bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.

10Cool completely; cut into bars.
