- 30 caramels
- 1/4 c. butter
- salted peanuts (no skins)
- 1/4 c. evaporated milk
- 1 c. powdered sugar
Directions

1Combine caramels and evaporated milk in top of double boiler. Heat until caramels are melted. Remove from heat.

2Add 1/4 cup butter.

3Mix well until melted.

4Add 1 cup powdered sugar. Cool slightly.

5Drop by teaspoonfuls into a dish of salted peanuts. Form into log. Roll until coated with nuts.

6Place on waxed paper. Makes about 50.
