Directions

   Cream butter with sugar.

   Add 2 well beaten eggs; mix thoroughly.

   Gradually add sifted flour and mix well again. Chill overnight.

   Roll out thin on floured board or cloth; cut into shapes and place on greased baking sheet.

   Brush tops with slightly beaten egg whites; sprinkle with mixture made of 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon.

   Press pecan half into center of each star. Bake in 350° oven for 10 minutes or until edges of star points are lightly browned.

   Makes 100 stars 2 1/2-inches across.
