- 1 c. butter
- 1/4 c. confectioners sugar
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Set oven at 350°.

2Cream the butter until fluffy; gradually add sugar, beating until smooth.

3Beat in water and vanilla. Alternately add flour and nuts, blending after each addition. With lightly floured hands, roll dough in small balls or date-shaped pieces.

4Place on ungreased cookie sheet, about 1-inch apart.

5Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.

6Roll in confectioners sugar as soon as taken from oven.

7Makes 3 dozen.
