- 1 c. butter
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. water
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add water and vanilla and mix well. Blend in flour and nuts.

3Chill about 2 hours.

4Shape into balls or fingers.

5Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325° for 20 minutes. Remove from pan, cool and roll in sugar.

6Makes 3 dozen.
