  • 1/2 ounce Heering cherry liqueur
  • 1/2 ounce amontillado sherry
  • 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
  • Dash of Angostura bitters
  • Ice
  • 1 maraschino cherry, preferably Luxardo, for garnish

    In a cocktail shaker, combine all of the ingredients except ice and the garnish.

    Fill the shaker with ice and shake well.

    Fine-strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with the cherry.
