Ingredients

  • 1 sm onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic chopped
  • Olive oil- extra virgin (EVOO)cover bottom of pot
  • 1 tbl Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbl basil
  • 1 tbl oregano
  • 1 sm can tomato paste
  • 1 lg can tomato puree
  • 2 lg cans crushed tomato
  • 2 lg cans tomato sauce
  • Bay leaf if you have it
  • Sprinkle of Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

    Coat bottom of pot with EVOO generously

    Saute onion and garlic until soft
  3. 3
    Add 3 seasonings and saute a minute or 2
  4. 4
    Add tomato paste and stir until it darkens
  5. 5
    Pour in crushed tomato and stir

    Pour in tomato puree and stir

    Add tomato sauce and stir

    Once well combined add bay leaf and Parmesan cheese

    Salt and pepper to taste .

    Cook on very low all day, stirring occasionally
