- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Melt butter in a saucepan.

2Remove pan from heat and add sugar and blend.

3Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.

4Stir in vanilla, flour and baking powder.

5Add nuts and stir lightly. Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

6Bake in 350° oven for 30 minutes.

7Cool and cut.
