Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 12 medium mushrooms
  • 3/4 c. butter, melted and cooled
  • 4 pieces bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
  • 1 (2 oz.) can diced black olives, drained
  • 1/4 c. bread crumbs, fine
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp. garlic salt

Directions

    Heat oven to 350°.

    Remove stems from mushrooms to make small crevice for stuffing.

    Wash mushrooms and roll in butter.

    Place upright in baking dish.

    In small bowl, mix remaining ingredients, reserve 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese for topping.

    Press mixture in crevice of mushrooms and top with cheese.

    Bake 5 minutes or until hot.

    Can be made in advance and frozen.

    Remaining mixture and mushroom stems are great in salad.
