Ingredients
- 4 to 6 oz. cube steaks
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tsp. oil
- 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 green pepper, sliced thinly
- 4 oz. mushrooms, whole or pieces
- 2 Tbsp. chili sauce
- 1 Tbsp. mushroom juice
Directions

1Season cube steaks and brown quickly on both sides in hot oil. Remove steak.

2Saute onion, green pepper and mushrooms in browned drippings until tender.

3Stir in chili sauce and juice.

4Bring to boil.

5Reduce heat, cover and simmer 5 minutes.

6Return steaks to sauce, spoon sauce on top, cover and heat thoroughly.

7Extra juice and chili sauce may not be added.
