- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 dozen corn tortillas
- vegetable oil
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (5.33 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. American process cheese slices
- 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chiles, drained
- 1 (0.56 oz.) pkg. green onion dip mix
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Combine ground beef and onion in skillet; brown and drain.

2Fry tortillas, one at a time, in 1/4-inch hot oil.

3Cook 5 seconds on each side.

4Drain on paper towels.

5Spoon meat mixture evenly on center of each tortilla and roll them up.

6Place tortillas, seam side down, in a jelly roll pan.

7Combine remaining ingredients, except Cheddar cheese, in a small saucepan; cook over medium heat until the slices of American cheese melt.

8Pour evenly over the enchiladas and sprinkle with Cheddar cheese.

9Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
