- 1 lb. frankfurters
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 lemon, thinly sliced
- 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
Directions

1Score franks in corkscrew fashion.

2In skillet, brown franks lightly in butter.

3Add remaining ingredients, except green pepper.

4Simmer, covered, about 10 minutes.

5Add green pepper and cook, covered, 5 minutes more.

6Serve over hot cooked noodles or over buns.
