Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2/3 c. grated cheese
  • 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 egg lightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 can whole tomatoes
  • 1/3 to 1/2 c. heinz steak sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • cooked hot buttered noodles

Directions

    In large bowl combine beef, cheese, bread crumbs, milk and egg; mix well and form into balls, about 20 balls.

    Brown in a large pan with oil. Cook and drain excess fat.

    Sprinkle flour over meatballs stirring gently to coat. On medium heat combine; tomatoes sauce and salt. Cook uncovered for 25 minutes or until sauce is desired thickness. Serve meatballs and sauce over cooked noodles.
