- 1 lb. unpared zucchini, thinly sliced (4 c.)
- 2 medium onions, thinly sliced (1 c.)
- 2 Tbsp. oleo
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- dash of pepper
- 1/2 c. cheese, shredded
- 1/2 c. buttered bread cubes
Directions

1Cook zucchini and onion in small amount boiling water until tender.

2In saucepan, melt oleo, blend in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk all at once.

3Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.

4Combine sauce with drained vegetables.

5Place in a casserole dish.

6Top with shredded cheese and buttered bread crumbs.

7Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.

8Makes 4 to 6 servings.
