- 3 bay leaves
- 4 cloves
- 1 pt. vinegar
- salt and pepper
- about 1 c. water
- 12 gingersnaps
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 pkg. carrots
- 6 onions, sliced
Directions

1Marinate meat in vinegar, water, bay leaves, cloves, salt and pepper for 3 to 5 days.

2Then remove meat and brown on both sides. Add 1 1/2 cups vinegar-water and roast in oven at 325°.

3Also add carrots and onions and roast about 3 hours.
