  • 1/4 c. shortening
  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 3/4 c. buttermilk

    Fry sausage.

    Drain and crumble.

    Place flour in a mixing bowl.

    Cut in shortening.

    Add buttermilk and stir until blended. Stir in sausage.

    Knead on a floured board about 10 times.

    Roll out to 1/2 inch thickness.
