- 1/4 c. shortening
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 3/4 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Fry sausage.

2Drain and crumble.

3Place flour in a mixing bowl.

4Cut in shortening.

5Add buttermilk and stir until blended. Stir in sausage.

6Knead on a floured board about 10 times.

7Roll out to 1/2 inch thickness.

8Cut with a cutter.

9Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown at 450°.
