- 2 lb. sausage
- 2 cans crescent rolls
- 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes
- 2 eggs, beaten
- salt and pepper to taste
- egg yolk, beaten (optional to spread on roll before baking)
Directions

1Fry and drain sausage.

2Put out 2 layers of crescent rolls on waxed paper to form large rectangle.

3Roll with floured rolling pin until 15 x 15-inches.

4Mix sausage with 2 beaten eggs.

5Spread over rolls.

6Sprinkle cheese and seasonings.

7Start at one end and roll up jelly roll fashion tucking in edges as you roll.

8Place on ungreased baking sheet.

9Brush with beaten egg yolk.

10Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.

11Slice.

12Freezes well.
