Sausage Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bulk sausage (any flavor)
  • 2 cans crescent rolls
  • 1/2 small onion
  • 4 oz. shredded Cheddar or Colby cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    In frying pan, cook sausage and onion until sausage is browned.

    Beat together eggs and pour into pan with sausage.

    Cook eggs loosely.

    Turn heat off and cool mixture.

    Pinch together all of the crescent rolls to form a rectangle.

    Place on a baking sheet.

    Put egg and sausage into middle of dough.
  8. 8
    Sprinkle cheese over meat.

    Pull up sides of dough and pinch together to close over meat.

    Close up ends and bake at 350° until bread is browned, approximately 20 minutes.
