- softened margarine
- 14 slices bread
- 1 lb. sausage, cooked and drained
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (1/2 lb.)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 8 eggs
- 3 c. milk
Directions

1Spread margarine on one side of bread slices; cut bread into small cubes.

2Combine bread cubes, sausage, cheese, salt and pepper; stir well.

3Beat eggs until foamy; stir in milk.

4Add egg mixture to sausage mixture, stirring well.

5Pour into lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan; cover and refrigerate overnight.

6Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 1 hour or until golden brown.

7Serve immediately.
