Sausage Cornbread Dressing

- 1 lb. Jimmy Dean special recipe pork sausage
- 5 c. day old cornbread, crumbled
- 1 large purple onion, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 (14 oz.) cans chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp. ground sage
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1In large frying pan, lightly brown sausage.

2Add celery and onion and cook about 10 minutes.

3Mix crumbs, sage and chicken broth.

4Add sausage, onion and celery.

5Mix well.

6Bake in buttered 9 x 12-inch baking dish at 350° until browned (depending on oven, can be between 30 and 45 minutes).
