Ingredients
- 1 (9 x 13-inch) pan cornbread
- 4 to 6 c. bread
- 1 lb. bulk pork sausage
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 7 eggs, slightly beaten
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp. sage or to taste
- 4 to 5 c. chicken broth or bouillon
- 1 c. raisins (if desired)
Directions

1Crumble cornbread and moistened bread in a large bowl; set aside.

2Brown sausage slowly, adding margarine, onion and celery. Cook until onion is tender.

3Pour over bread mixture.

4Add eggs, seasonings and about 2 cups of broth.

5Mix well, adding more broth until all is soft and moist.

6Mix in raisins, if desired.

7Bake for 45 to 60 minutes, or until firm and heated through.
