Sausage-Greens Pie

  • 1 lb. sweet Italian sausage, chopped
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen greens (of choice), thawed and chopped
  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 2/3 c. Ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • pie crust for 2-crust pie

Directions

    Brown 1 pie shell.

    To ground sausage add eggs, Mozzarella cheese, Ricotta cheese, salt, pepper and garlic.

    Mix well.

    Blend in greens.

    Pour into brown pie shell.

    Cut remaining uncooked pie crust into strips.

    Lace over top of the green sausage mixture. Bake at 375° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
