  • 3 to 4 stalks celery
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 lb. pan sausage
  • 1 c. raw rice
  • 1 envelope chicken noodle soup mix (not instant)

Directions

    Chop and saute celery, bell pepper and onion with the sausage (crumbled) until tender.

    Heat 3 cups of water to boil.

    In a casserole dish, add raw rice, soup mix and sauteed mixture; mix well.

    Bake at 350°, uncovered, for 40 to 45 minutes.

    Easy to double or triple recipe.

    Freezes well.
