  • 1 lb. bulk sausage, browned and drained or 1 pkg. smokie links, cut bite-size
  • 6 eggs
  • 6 slices bread, cubed
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 c. milk

Directions

    Place bread cubes in greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

    Beat eggs; add milk and seasoning.

    Pour over bread.

    Mix in sausage; sprinkle cheese on top.

    Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight. Bake in 350° oven 40 to 45 minutes (if using Pyrex bake in 325° oven), uncovered.
